E.B. McHenry has been making whimsical and imaginative illustrations, prints and paintings for many years. A graduate of The Philadelphia College of Art, (B.F.A. Painting) E.B. has worked as both a Fine and Commercial artist. Her print and collage works have been represented by the Dolan/Maxwell Gallery Philadelphia,. her illustrations published in major newspaper, magazine and software publications; The Philadelphia Daily News, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Bark, The New York Dog Magazine, Running Press, and many others.
After studying computer graphics and animation at The Moore College of Art and Design, E.B. moved to San Francisco and worked in children’s educational software development, creating animations, character illustration and content design for a number of San Francisco start-ups, as well as Adobe Software. E.B. left the digital world a few years ago and began writing and illustrating stories for children’s picture books. Poodlena is her first published work.
